Twin Valley B&B Horse Ranch

Twin Valley B&B Horse Ranch

Twin Valley is, as its title indicates, a bed and breakfast as well as a horse ranch that offers horseback riding as well as some related amenities that you don’t see at many other vacation properties – horseback riding lessons, horseback wedding opportunities, bring-your-own-horse guest amenities (!), fishing and swimming on an on-site pond, helping out around the ranch if you felt called for it (could be a good idea for any youngsters!) and many more that we’ll detail here.

From the Twin Valley B&B Horse Ranch website:

“Twin Valley Bed & Breakfast Ranch is located in the beautiful foothills of the Smokies at the base of majestic Chilhowee Mountain, just minutes away from the Great Smoky Mountain National Park and the excitement of Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and Knoxville, plus other great regional attractions. With miles of private mountain trails for horseback riding on our sure-footed mountain horses, fabulous mountain views, a rustic mountain ranch-style escape awaits you and your family.

Of course, the trail riding and a real ranch experience is the focus of a Twin Valley getaway! There are so many more ranch activites to enjoy, too! Lots of animals besides the horses are waiting for you. Children & adults alike love to feed and interact with the llama, goats, pig, sheep, feathered friends, bunnies, kitties and Monty the donkey! “Fox”, is the ranch’s official furry greeter, a friendly dog usually accompanied by his pals Banshee and Pica.

The Ranch can also be a vacation for your own dog and horses! Guest paddocks, pet-friendly Luke’s Cabin, maps and National Park riding trip planning are available.

In the summer, take a dip or fish in the deep, spring-fed (and stocked!) pond. Ride or hike the trails – picnic in a meadow, splash in a mountain stream or daydream the afternoon away!

Our Mountain-Trained horses are waiting for you!
Ride miles of exciting wooded trails with spectacular views and mountain adventure! Intimate groups are fun for all experience levels. Learn about native wildlife, history and lore, ride a wide variety of terrain and trails. Fun games in the saddle for younger (and not-so-young) riders. Here’s your chance to really be a rider! Develop or improve your mountain riding skills.

Horses and rides are chosen to match beginner and advanced. Rides can be laid-back or more challenging “Power Rides” for advanced riders. Guests are invited to participate in the handling of their horse both before and after the ride at no extra charge..

Riding and basic horsemanship instruction is also provided when needed.
